Peia is an American born singer, song-writer, and traditional song collector. Gifted with “the voice of a lark” she dances nimbly from Child Ballads and 17th C. Gaelic laments, to Waulking Songs, and Bulgarian mountain calls.

With four studio albums to date and international touring since 2014, she has acquired a dedicated and diverse following around the globe, amassing over 20 million views on her online videos and selling out nearly every concert on her most recent European tour at venues averaging 400 capacity.

Her forthcoming album, due Spring 2024, is a collection of traditional ballads gathered from her 4 month grant funded study in the Gaeltachts (Irish speaking regions) of Western Ireland.

Peia will tour in support of the album as a trio (percussion and double bass) and will present songs collected from the trip as well as some old favorites.

Peia can perform a set that works well in listening rooms as well as stages for dancing.
